Bio
Mark Moffitt grew up in Victorville, California. As a young child he always dreamed of being a cowboy, riding horses, and working cows. As a young child and teenager every spring and summer he went to a horsemanship training camp and at age 12 broke his first horse through the program.
When Mark was 16 he finally had his own horse, a wild mustang. This mustang had been through a very traumatic experience. It took him 3 months just to touch it. He trained it for a year and sold it to a 10 year old who went to state championships and other competitions with it.
Mark graduated the horsemanship program at age 17 and since has managed a ranch in Alabama, and has worked on various other cattle ranches.
Mark competed in the Mountain Valley Extreme Mustang Makeover held in Heber, UT in November 2009. He had 90 days to train a completely wild horse and take it to competition at the end of the training period. He placed as a finalist and his horse was loved by the person who adopted him.
Mark also competed in the Ft. Collins Extreme Mustang Makeover in June 2011. He placed 1st in the trail challenge, 3rd in the reining challenge, and 4th in the finals.
